A welsh pony and young female rider, for use on the online horse sim Horse Fly in their Show Pony event division, or some such thing.

Technically, the pony shouldn't have the polo wraps for a competition, but I thought they were cute...and, honestly, I wasn't really thinking about it. XD Besides, usually pony events are much more lax about appearance, anyway. May add a standard/boxes/fence, if the game owner requests them.

Multiple base photographic references were used to confirm proper rider equitation and horse conformation.

I did most of this about a week ago, and just now finished colouring the lineart and adding hightlights. Just had to finish it. Gah. Don't like working in such small dimensions at all.

Done on Adbe Photoshop CS. Clocked at 2-3 hours.

Beautiful pose and coloring. I love the shine and shadows accentuating the musculature of the horse. Wonderful job!

You're horses just come out.... beautiful. *salivates* I want to claim that shoulder region for myself. And the human looks great too! I adore drawing dapple grays. Just love it. I think that even if I completely screwed up the shading on em, they'd still look awesome, because their coat patterns are so dang nifty. X3 ( Which is probably why I'm already so attached to Maestoso Biserka. I want to get better so I can draw him more. >.>; )

And the rider sucks, so shut up. Her face makes her look like a constipated hunk of clay, and her heel is turned too far inwards. Her ankle must be broken. XD
