Mononoke Hime = best movie ever.

Ever since I first saw it, I've been completely obsessed with Hayao Miyazaki's work and Studio Ghibli's films. I've drawn San thousands of times...but I'll never be able to get the hang of Miyazaki's style. Oy. TT_TT I tried to mimick his style in the lineart (I drew it months ago, I guess, and found it in an old sketchbook today and reinked it), but...that's where it ended. Heh. >_>;

San looks uncharacteristically happy.

I think I drew it directly from a scene in the movie, but I can't be sure. So, either way, I'm not sure if I can take credit for the composition, because I don't remember when I did the original sketch. ^_^;

Anyway. Yes. Uhm. *nothing more to say.*

Done on Adobe Photoshop Elements. Clocked at about 4 hours.

I love this movie! X_X greatest thing ever *purrs happily* spirited away was great too. I think I'm still a bit more inclined to like spirited away a bit more than Mononoke Hime x333 loving this pic; it's great. Specially like San here x3.

Wow this is such a great job! The colors you used are especially amazing. I love her hair (>_< need to work on hair). I liked Mononoke Hime but I think I loved Spirited Away more. But great job seriously! :clap:
