Lespedeza : Bacabellaby ~Nylak

A 3-year-old gray moss bacabella filly, named for her colour and latent magical ability to nurture pastures.

Lespedeza was born the youngest foal of a chestnut rouge mare, sired by a gorgeous onyx dapple gray stallion. Her vain mother hoped for a handsome, rare-patterned colt to reflect the beauty of the illustrious sire, but instead the simple, geometrically moss-patterned Lespedeza was born. Severely disappointed in her offspring, her dam was neglectful and cruel to the young filly until she was old enough to separate herself from her birth herd.

Convinced by her inattentive and critical dam that she is ugly and worthless, Lespedeza still lives alone, nurtured by a magical power that is so subtle that even she doesn’t realize she possesses it—any pasture or field she resides in is always lush and bountiful, and she never knows hunger or want, no matter the season.
