My 8-year-old quarter horse gelding, Dude. Drew it for my new desktop layout, which can also be seen in my gallery.
The events of the past few months have really made me appreciate him...in a variety of ways. I realized how much I care for him, and how important he is to my health (and mental/emotional soundness). But I've also come to realize that he's a force to be reckoned with--and that trying to control him is kind of like trying to use floss to control a rhinoceros with a bee up its ass. Needless to say, my love and respect for him have greatly increased over the last few months, and I adore him for both his gentleness and his psychosis. X3 By the way. You may notice the lack of certain gelding anatomy. This was deliberately overlooked because this picture was intended for the use in a desktop layout, which had components that covered the area of the sheath. So I just didn't bother to draw it, sine it wouldn't have shown up anyway. Done on Adobe Photoshop CS. Clocked at 4 hours. |
